Flexible air duct makes the final connection between rigid ductwork and air outlets in HVAC systems. The GFlex datasheet covers four types on a steel wire helix: insulated GD11 and GD12, with 25 or 38 mm fibreglass (16 or 24 kg/m³, R 4.2) under a metallised polyester vapour barrier, and uninsulated GD13 and GD14. Diameters are 4"–20" (per the GFlex datasheet) in 25 ft standard lengths, with a maximum velocity of 5000 fpm and an operating temperature of −20 to 250 °F.
