A GI volume control damper is a manually set damper used to balance airflow in galvanized steel ductwork. Per the datasheet it has a galvanized steel interlocking hat-channel frame, extruded aluminium double-skin airfoil blades in opposed action (parallel available), 12 mm square zinc-plated axles, linkage concealed in the frame and a die-cast hand quadrant; motorized actuators of 24 V or 230 V are optional. The product page lists frame sizes from 300 × 300 mm to 1500 × 1000 mm. No UL fire or smoke rating applies to volume control dampers.

No. No UL fire or smoke rating applies to volume control dampers. Where a duct passes through a fire-rated wall or floor, use a UL 555 fire damper.
Which blade seals are available?
S1 blade-edge seals, S2 jamb (side) seals or S3 both; silicone rubber blade seals are rated to 175 °C.
