A non-return damper lets air pass in one direction and closes to stop reverse airflow. Per the datasheet, the blades are held open by the airflow and close automatically when the system stops, which also keeps out rain and birds. It comes duct-mounted or wall-mounted, with a low-leakage version that has a gasket on the blades. The product page adds lightweight aluminium blades, horizontal, vertical or inclined installation, sizes from 150 × 150 mm to 900 × 600 mm and an optional stainless steel version.
