Overview
PIR pre-insulated duct combines the duct and its insulation in one panel: a polyisocyanurate rigid foam core faced with aluminium foil inside and out. Panels are factory-cut at the Tawreed factory in Qatar for fast assembly on site, in 20, 25, 30 and 40 mm thicknesses. The PIR page lists a thermal conductivity of 0.023 W/(m·K), operating pressure up to 2000 Pa (Class B), air velocity up to 25 m/s and an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +100 °C. PIR is the alternative core to our phenolic duct; the UL 181 listing documented for WellWall phenolic board does not apply to PIR.
